In 60 minutes, we’ll explore your needs and see which course is best for you. You will already get personalized feedback about your language skills, and we’ll set specific goals to work on.

After the consultation, I’ll send you my contract with my terms and conditions (like a therapist, I also have a frame !). If we’re a great fit, I’ll invite you to save your spot on your chosen course with your first payment.

Personalized materials
Want to explore different ways to express sadness? Or different ways to facilitate psychoeducation in English? Every student has unique strengths and weaknesses. Though I anticipate some as a result of my experience, we mainly focus on what troubles you the most.
Vocabulary suggestions
Precision is fundamental for any mental health professional. That’s why I constantly listen, take note of hesitations and paraphrasing, and offer you more options to transmit what it really is you want to say.
Continuous feedback and error correction
Making minor language mistakes during a clinical session is inevitable. But making the same mistakes over and over, without learning from them, is another story. I help you avoid this.
Homework and revision
After each class, you receive notes to study for our following session. Apart from this, I send homework based on your specific needs, such as listening practice or grammar exercises.
FAQs
How do I know this is for me?
If you are a mental health professional (clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, etc) who needs a supportive, non-judgmental environment to become more confident, learn from their mistakes and acquire specialized vocabulary and grammar, get in touch! During my free consultation session, I assess your level of English to make sure you have a B2+ CEFR level. I help you choose realistic, achievable goals to work on together.
I am a mental health professional who needs to improve my English but not for clinical purposes. Can you help me?
It’s possible- it’s always better to book a free consultation to explain exactly what you need. Mental health professionals I have worked with in a non-clinical capacity are PhD students and professors preparing to give lectures or attend conferences at English-speaking universities. But if you are interested in academic writing, editing, translating or proofreading your thesis, I would be happy to refer you to a teacher specialised in Academic English.
What if I don’t have time to study?
Only you can know what works for you and your current lifestyle. I do not believe in forcing students to do homework or shaming them if they haven’t done it. Any homework I set is a suggestion, not an obligation. I will say this, though. Learning a language is like doing exercise: it must be consistent. To make the most of our classes, I strongly recommend dedicating some time outside our classes to English. I work with students to explore ways to incorporate this into your daily routine as comfortably and enjoyably as possible.
How much do classes cost?
It depends on the pack you choose. In 2024, each private class (excluding consultations) usually works out to about 30 € - 40 €. Small group classes are generally priced between 20 € - 25 € per person. Prices may be subject to increase each year.
How do payments work?
I send students an invoice at the start of each pack. I require the student's full name, address, and ID number. If you are a freelancer/ sole trader in Spain (Autónomo), you are required to pay the IRPF (15%) to Hacienda (presenting the Modelo 111 and 190) and provide me with an annual Certificado de Retenciones.
What is your cancellation policy?
Individual classes can be cancelled 24 hours or more in advance. For example, if you have classes on Wednesdays at 14:00, you can cancel this class for free up until Tuesday at 14:00. Classes that are charged with less than 24-hour notice are charged. I do try to reschedule these, but cannot always guarantee availability. Group classes cannot be cancelled.
